Alachua Academy is a 28-bed residential treatment program located in Gainesville, Florida, serving female youth ages 12–18 in a moderate-risk residential setting. The program provides comprehensive behavioral health, mental health, and substance abuse treatment services within a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where young women can heal, grow, and build a foundation for long-term success.
Using a trauma-informed, strength-based approach, Alachua Academy delivers individualized care tailored to each student’s unique needs. Services include evidence-based treatment, individual, family, and group counseling, case management, educational support, health and wellness services, and structured pro-social activities designed to strengthen resilience, emotional well-being, and life skills.
From assessment through treatment and transition planning, residents are guided through a therapeutic process focused on accountability, personal growth, and goal achievement.
